Case Study Session, Sponsored by Target Roundel
Designing Retail Media Experiences that Fuel Growth
To capitalize on peak New Year interest in wellness and nutrition, Danone and Roundel partnered on a portfolio-wide campaign designed to connect Danone’s health-forward brands with guests as they built new routines for the year ahead.
The campaign brought together a custom Target brand experience, scaled managed service media, first-party guest insights, and creator content to reach consumers across the moments and channels influencing discovery and purchase. Target’s first-party data helped identify high-value audiences based on real shopping behaviors, informing more relevant activation both on and off Target.
The approach delivered 131.8 million impressions, 29.3 million in combined reach, and a 21.6 ROAS, with conversion-focused media reaching a 25.8 ROAS. The campaign also incorporated creative testing and influencer content designed to generate learnings and reusable assets that could inform future Danone media and investment.
The conversation will explore how brands and retailers can design scaled retail media experiences around meaningful guest moments, combining audience intelligence, activation, measurement, and continuous learning to support growth. Attendees will hear how Danone and Roundel are using insights from large-scale programs to inform smarter decisions, create more relevant guest experiences, and strengthen future planning.
