Zara re-joined Lidl US as the Vice President of IT in January 2025. Her career with the company began a decade earlier when, driven by a passion for the intersection of culinary culture and technology, she joined Lidl US as one of its first team members, .  
Over her initial nine-year tenure, Zara established a strong foundation in key roles like Digital Director, where she focused on the intersection of technology and business, leading teams responsible for all customer-facing technology and managing large transformation projects.  
 
After a period as Director of Commercial Systems at Ahold Delhaize, her love of culinary culture and technology brought her back to Lidl to assume her current leadership role.
