Wajeeha Ahmed is the Chief Financial Officer at Hungryroot. Wajeeha has over 20 years of experience in a variety of finance roles. Prior to Hungryroot, Wajeeha served as CFO for Barstool Sports, where she led all corporate operations including Accounting, FP&A, Sales Pricing & Planning, and built out the Legal & Business Affairs, Human Resources and Office Facilities functions. During her tenure, Barstool Sports saw revenue growth of 240%, headcount growth of 200%+, and improved profitability. In her spare time, Wajeeha has developed a love for soccer being a soccer mom for longer than she can remember! Her two children (now young adults) have inspired her to turn that fandom into action. She sits on the Board of a non profit girls soccer club whose mission is to ensure that every girl who wants to play soccer has the opportunity to do so.
