Victor Chan is a pioneering expert in low-power machine learning. In 2007, he founded the Machine Learning team at Qualcomm Research, where he recruited and directed the Systems team for a decade. Building on his industry leadership, Victor co-founded Machyna, Inc. three years ago, driving innovation in low-power AI devices tailored for the retail sector. 

With a prolific career marked by over 30 U.S. patents, Victor has contributed to the fields of artificial intelligence and neuroscience through his publications. He holds advanced degrees in both Neurobiology and Computer Science from the University of Southern California (USC), underscoring his multidisciplinary expertise.
