Foodstuffs North Island Limited
With over 15 years of executive leadership experience in New Zealand and Australia, Lindsay currently serves as the General Manager for Membership and Property at Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI), New Zealand’s largest retail chain. Initially joined in 2016, Lindsay plays a pivotal role in leading three of New Zealand’s iconic grocery brands (Four Square, New World, PAK’nSAVE) and manages a significant property portfolio with around 330 owner-operated stores in the North Island.
Reporting directly to the CEO, he leads a team of over 200. Lindsay is accountable for both the dynamic operations of a multi-brand retail group and the strategic growth of the property portfolio. A strong relationship-builder, Lindsay works closely with 330+ cooperative members who own and operate their stores, ensuring alignment and collaboration across the business.
Prior to joining Foodstuffs, Lindsay spent eight years with Woolworths Australia, where he held multiple leadership roles within the property group, including Group Property Operations Manager – North. In that role, he was responsible for the national network strategy plan and property strategy execution. Before Woolworths, Lindsay spent eight years with ALDI, playing a pivotal role in establishing and operating the ALDI brand in New South Wales, and later serving as Property Director for store network development in Victoria.
Lindsay holds degrees in Commerce and Law from Deakin University, and has a passion for driving business growth, developing high-performing teams, and fostering customer-centric business models.
