Joe is Head of Content - U.S. at Shoptalk and Groceryshop. He leads the development of the narrative, agenda and speakers for all of Shoptalk's U.S. events: Shoptalk Spring, Shoptalk Fall, and Groceryshop. He has deep retail subject matter expertise, and regularly interviews senior leaders across Shoptalk's stages. He also helps define Shoptalk's original content, including the zeitgeist presentations on major forces reshaping the retail industry. Joe has worked at Shoptalk since 2018, starting in the role of VP, Content.

Joe has nearly two decades of experience advising and guiding companies and industries challenged by massive technological change. Prior to joining the Shoptalk team, Joe played several roles at the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). Earlier in his career, he worked as a research director at Jupiter Research.

Joe holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia College, and a Master of Arts from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. When he is not helping industries reinvent themselves, he enjoys sailing and bread making.
