Alicia LeBeouf is a multidisciplinary executive who possesses a blend of retail operations, marketing, branding and management expertise which enables her to effectively drive revenue growth and customer acquisition for companies and brands. Currently, Alicia serves as Head of Retail and Grocery for Meta (Facebook) (NASDAQ : META) , leading the group responsible for partnering with the largest retailers and ecommerce marketplaces in North America to leverage Facebook’s product and service offerings in support of their customer acquisition, retention and profitability targets. In this role, Alicia helps brands and major retailers reimagine the shopping experience to competently navigate the current marketplace and differentiate themselves from their competitors.
Alicia joined Facebook in January 2020 with over 12 years of retail experience. Most recently, Alicia served as Senior Vice President of Retail and Marketing for Canteen, a sector of Compass Group North America (LSE: CPG) which accounts for the largest footprint of automated unattended merchandising (vending) and micro-market convenience outlets in the United States. In this role, Alicia reported directly to the CEO and was primarily responsible for overseeing the company’s retail, marketing and strategy divisions. Her main priority was leading the brand’s transition from traditional vending to consumer-driven unattended retail platforms and facilitating its efforts to curate unique breakroom programs for corporations, hospitality clients, universities and other similarly situated clients.
Prior to Compass Group, Alicia spent 10 years with Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) in a variety of roles spanning operations, strategy and public affairs. In her role as the Senior Director of Store Operations and Retail Concepts, she led strategy and operational development efforts for store openings, closings and the creation of small stores formats (Target Express). Eager to gain front line, core retail and P&L experience, Alicia transitioned to the field and managed a portfolio of stores in Atlanta, GA that represented $700M in annual sales and a team over 1500 team members. During her tenure at Target, Alicia also held roles focusing on consumer engagement initiatives, innovation, public-private partnerships and the transition of Target’s pharmacy portfolio to CVS.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Alicia is committed to finding ways to mentor youth and upcoming professionals and give back to the community. Alicia currently serves as vice chairman for the board of directors for Goodwill of the Southern Piedmont where she supports the organization’s commitment to helping families and individuals combat poverty through workforce development initiatives.
Alicia holds B.A. and M.A degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Economics and Public Administration. She serves as the Board Directors for Nutrabolt – global active health and wellness company with a portfolio of market leading performance-oriented brands. Personally, Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband, son MJ (5) and daughter Sydney (3). During her spare time, Alicia can be found training for her next half marathon, reading a good book or honing her culinary skills in the kitchen.
