Abi Subramanian is the Group Vice President, Loyalty, Walgreens Advertising Group and Owned Asset Monetization at Walgreens.
He is responsible for driving customer-centric strategies and innovative solutions that enhance the Walgreens customer experience, loyalty and growth across all platforms – in-store, mobile and online. He oversees the scaling and synergies of the company’s 100M+ member myWalgreens loyalty program, Walgreens Advertising Group (wag), enterprise paid media activation and data monetization across omni-channel marketing and e-commerce as Walgreens further accelerates its digital transformation to provide a seamless brand experience across channels.

He has more than 16 years of experience in the marketing industry. Most recently, he served as Vice President and GM of Lowe’s One Roof Media Network. There, he developed and launched Lowe’s retail media network and oversaw the growth of its revenue and ad products while working with clients and industry partners to build their ad business.

Prior to Lowe’s, Abi was the Head of Sam’s Club’s Media Group where he held a number of leadership roles overseeing media and member programs. He also spent several years working for leading management consulting organizations such as KPMG with a primary focus on helping fortune 50 clients navigate the intersection of marketing, technology and customer engagement, leading business transformation, consulting engagements across digital marketing, customer strategy and growth and change management initiatives.

He was named to Path to Purchase Institute’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2023, and has also been recognized as a Retail Media Master by Retail Touchpoint’s 2022 Retail Innovator Awards.
