Groceryshop Move-In and Move-Out
Must-Know Information
Exhibit Hall Check-in Location
The Exhibit Halls are located in the Shoreline and Oceanside Exhibit Halls, on Level 2 in the South Convention Center at Mandalay Bay. During move-in, Exhibitors and their EAC’s must enter the Exhibit Hall via the designated entrance. Final location is TBD and will be communicated prior to arriving on-site.
Only Exhibitors and their approved EAC’s will have access to the Exhibit Hall during move-in and move-out. An Exhibitor badge or EAC wristband will be required to access the halls. General Attendees and non-Exhibitors will not be allowed into the halls during move-in and move-out.
You must wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or you will be denied entry during move-in and move-out. Important – PPE will not be provided; you must bring your own!
All Exhibitor personnel are required to wear closed-toe shoes and high visibility vest/sash for safety purposes during move in and move out. NO EXCEPTIONS!
If your feet are 6 ft or higher off the show floor, you are REQUIRED to wear a hard hat with a chin strap.
Exhibitor Help (Service Desk)
The Exhibitor Service Desk is where you will find help from Freeman (empty box labels, priority empty labels, and outbound shipping forms), Edlen Electrical, Validar (lead retrieval), etc.
Mandalay Bay Exhibitor Services has their own desk location outside of the exhibit hall.
Location of the Exhibitor Service desk inside the Exhibit Hall is TBD.
Floor Managers
Groceryshop will have multiple Floor Managers walking the Exhibit Hall during move-in and move-out as well as during the show. The Floor Managers are extensions of the Sponsor Logistics team, Groceryshop Operations team, Freeman, Edlen, Encore and Mandalay Bay. They can assist with any on-site issues, missing orders or shipments and will be the quickest way to resolve any issues or questions for Exhibitors.
Exhibit Hall Move-in and Move-out Schedule
Exhibitors and their EAC’s will have access to the Exhibit Halls to install and dismantle their booths at the applicable hours below. In addition, Exhibitors can access the Exhibit Halls early, 8:00 am PT Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, to prepare their booth for the day. Non-exhibiting badge holders will not be granted access to the Exhibit Halls prior to 10:00 am PT on Monday and 9:00 am PT on Tuesday and Wednesday.

- *Freeman will begin returning empty containers as soon as the aisle carpeting is removed, or plastic covering has been laid in the aisles of the exhibit hall.
Thursday, October 10 7:00 am - 12:00 pm PT
- All Booths
*Exhibitors can purchase priority empty labels to ensure their empties are returned as soon as possible. These are limited and sold first come first serve. To purchase labels in advance please go to Freeman or call Exhibitor Support.
Labels can NOT be purchased during exhibit hours.
Move-out Reminders
Flooring
All Exhibitors who brought or provided their own flooring (not ordered with and installed by Freeman) will be responsible for removal. If any booth carpet or flooring remains in a booth after the Exhibitor has left, Freeman will remove and dispose of the flooring at the expense of the Exhibitor.
Donations
A donation area will be available to Exhibitors at the close of the show. The process is simple, send an email to jjensen@mandalaybay.com. In the Subject line, please put “Groceryshop 2024” and your booth number/location. Include your onsite contact and the best time to visit, and the Recycling Manager will visit you to go over the details for donations to make the process convenient for you.
What’s donatable? Tables, chairs, flooring, pens, writing pads, bags, hats, t-shirts, and similar items.
What isn’t donatable? Booth walls, food and beverage items, items in poor condition, anything you wouldn’t put in your home.
