Mustafa Murat Bartın, born in 1974, graduated from METU as an  Industrial Engineer. He started his professional career at Migros in 1995, as a Business Development Expert, He founded Migros Online back in 1997 and worked as Marketing Manager of Migros Online till 2000. Between 2000 and 2009 he worked for Hewlett-Packard Turkey and held several positions as E-Business Sales Manager, Pre-Sales Manager, Global Account Manager and as Country Manager for Consulting Division. He re-joined Migros as Chief Digital Officer ( CDO ) in 2009. He acted as Chief International-retail Operations, Wholesales and Online Retail Operations between 2015-2018 before he was appointed as Chief  Retail Operations Officer. He was promoted to be the CEO of Migros Retail in June 2023. He is married and has two children.
