Prabash Coswatte, a seasoned retail executive with over 18 years of experience in the grocery industry. Prabash is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Heritage Grocers Group. Heritage Grocers Group is a specialty, ethnic food retailer that offers an extensive assortment of both traditional and specialty grocery items to the communities it serves. Heritage Grocers Group is headquartered in Ontario, California, and currently operates in 6 states: Cardenas Markets in California and Nevada. Los Altos Ranch Market in Arizona, Tony's Fresh Market out of the Illinois market, primarily in Chicago and El Rancho Supermercado in Texas. In total a 115 stores and 3 distribution centers.

Prabash joined Cardenas Markets as Chief Information Officer in 2019 bringing extensive project management and information technology experience gained throughout the course of his professional career. In February of 2021, he was named to his most recent role of Chief Administration Officer. In August of 2021, he was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer and accountable for overseeing Store Operations, Information Technology, Data Integrity, Scanning, Receiving, Loss Prevention, Maintenance, Construction, and Real Estate departments.

Prior to joining Cardenas, he served as Chief Information Officer for Vallarta Supermarkets, Vice President - Enterprise Program Management for 99 Cents Only Stores, Sr. Project Manager for Cambridge Associates LLC, and Senior Consultant for Deloitte Consulting.

Prabash serves as a board member of Cardenas Markets Foundation. A nonprofit organization noted for its charitable efforts that positively impact the lives of those in the areas Cardenas Markets serves and a member of the Grocerysop Advisory Board.
