Carlos joined Facebook’s Global Marketing Solutions team in 2012. During this time, he has led various parts of the CPG team including the Beauty vertical as well as relationships with strategic global CPG partners. Currently, Carlos leads the CPG-Retail vertical, which includes Facebook’s largest partnerships across Grocery, Drug and Club in the U.S.
Prior to Facebook, Carlos was at Univision Communications, where he started in 2003 as one of the youngest Account Executives in the history of the Network Sales team. During his 9 years at Univision, Carlos was responsible for managing a significant portion of Univision’s overall revenue. Most recently, he was the Director of Sales, Advanced Television, a new business venture for Univision. Prior to Univision, Carlos worked at MasterCard International managing the “Priceless” advertising campaign.
Carlos attended Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business where he studied Marketing and Studio Art. He is also an alumnus of both the INROADS and LEAD programs. Carlos splits his time between New York City, Washington, and Connecticut, where he lives with his wife Luna, 3-year-old daughter Elle and Burmese cat Neezle.
