VP, General Manager, Grocery E-Commerce, Loblaw Digital
In his current role as VP, General Manager, Grocery E-Commerce, KJ is accountable for long-term strategy, business goals and P&L performance of the Grocery e-commerce business of Loblaw Companies Ltd. This includes driving growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency across both the grocery pick-up and delivery businesses for Loblaw - Canada's food and pharmacy leader. KJ joined Loblaw in 2011 as Director, Corporate Strategy. While in that role, he helped define the e-commerce strategy and plan for Loblaw Companies. Shortly after, Loblaw Digital, a dedicated team to build, launch, and operate e-commerce businesses, was established to execute on that plan, with KJ becoming one of its first two employees. During his 5+ years at Loblaw Digital, he has overseen trading, merchandising, digital marketing, digital messaging, demand generation, and content.
Prior to Loblaw Companies, KJ worked in strategy consulting for Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte). He holds an MBA from Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto, and Bachelor’s in Applied Sciences (Engineering) from University of Waterloo. He lives in Toronto, Ontario with his wife and three children.
