Benjamin Thompson heads up Digital Transformation at Endeavour Drinks Group, part of Woolworths Group Australia. Endeavour, one of the largest drinks companies globally, is a collection of drinks businesses, that include the number 1 and number 2 Australian retail chains, BWS and Dan Murphy's, who collectively have almost half the packaged alcohol market nationally.
In Ben's role he is responsible for leading the Group in leveraging technology to achieve business strategies. He leads cross-functional teams to transform processes, team structures and influence cultural changes to keep the group evolving and face into the New Normal of ever changing customer expectations, caused by accelerating technological advancements.
Prior to his role at Endeavour Ben helped build & grow an ecommerce start-up in South East Asia and worked agency side on Digital & Experiential campaigns for blue chip global clients in the region.
Ben, while currently based in Sydney Australia, is originally from the UK, has studied in France & Cuba and worked in Spain, Japan, Thailand and Singapore. He is conversant in 8 languages.
