Tyler King is the Vice President of Finance for SpartanNash (NASDAQ: SPTN), a Fortune 400 food solutions company that operates two complementary business segments in food wholesale and grocery retail. He currently serves as an advisor for the company’s retail business segment of 144 grocery stores. Tyler’s expertise in delivering strong company financials, making strategic business decisions and maintaining a People First culture has made him an integral part of the company.

Tyler brings over 25 years of experience in finance, accounting and inventory control, and 16 years of experience in the grocery industry. He joined SpartanNash in 2007 as Manager, Retail Inventory. Since then, he has served as Director, Retail Inventory; Director, Retail Accounting; and Senior Director, Finance. He began his career at Borders Group, Inc. as Associate Director, Finance. Tyler earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from Saginaw Valley State University.

Tyler is a lifelong Michigander and currently resides in Grand Rapids, Mich. with his wife and two children. In their free time, he and his family enjoy traveling, skiing and staying active outdoors.
