Michael McGowan

SVP, Commercial Insights & Loyalty


Michael McGowan is SVP of Commercial Insights & Loyalty for 84.51°, based in Cincinnati. He is responsible for the commercializing the 84.51° insights and loyalty solutions with CPG companies and other clients.  He also partners across Kroger business units to support alternative business areas. Michael also plays a key leadership role in many of the data and capability partnerships and new ventures to help grow and expand the footprint of 84.51° in the marketplace. 

Michael joined dunnhumbyUSA / 84.51° in 2009 and has held several leadership positions associated with both Kroger and CPGs. His roles include work in merchandising analytics, data insights, loyalty, and partnerships. He assumed his current role in early 2020.  Prior to 84.51° Michael worked for General Mills in a variety of roles within their Consumer Food Sales organization.

Michael received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Miami University and his MBA from Northern Kentucky University. Michael is an active member in the Knights of Columbus and is a passionate supporter of the Ronald McDonald House of Greater Cincinnati.
