Kevin Miller, Chief Marketing Officer of The Fresh Market, was named as one of the 30 Most Influential Marketers on LinkedIn in 2022 and received the 2021 CMO Innovator of the Year Award from the Millennium Alliance. With a 35-year proven record of leading marketing, advertising, and media organizations for Fortune 100 companies, Kevin is known for his ability to analyze data, create innovative solutions and build high performing teams that deliver superior results.

Kevin assumed The Fresh Market CMO position in May 2020. In just over two years, he has helped lead The Fresh Market to eight straight quarters of comparable sales growth despite significant economic, supply chain and inflationary headwinds. During this period, The Fresh Market was voted “The #1 Best Supermarket in America” by the USA Today Readers’ Choice Awards for two consecutive years 2022 and 2021, was recognized as the “2022 Southeast Innovator of the Year” by Winsight Grocery Business and ranked as one of the “Top 5 Most Trusted Gourmet Grocery Brands in America” by Newsweek.

Prior to The Fresh Market, Kevin was Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Natural Grocers a rapidly growing natural and organic retail chain. In four and a half years, he led marketing and digital transformation resulting in strong business growth of twelve straight quarters of positive sales and traffic comps and in Natural Grocers being recognized as one of the “World's 20 Fastest Growing Retailers of 2018” by 24/7 Wall St. Under his leadership, membership in the (N)power Loyalty Program grew over 500% to 1.3 million and the Natural Grocers' marketing team created four original marketing concepts that were awarded U.S. Trademark Patents.

Prior to Natural Grocers, Kevin served as President of KMMP Media Group, SVP Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of ABC Radio Networks, VP National Marketing Pizza Hut, VP Management Supervisor for the Subway Restaurant account at Hal Riney, Field Marketing Manager Coca-Cola USA, McDonald’s advertising account executive at Leo Burnett USA.

Kevin is a member of the select CMO Masters Circle of the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) focusing on global growth challenges of the world’s leading brands. He also has served in leadership positions on non-profit boards including The West Point Society of Denver and President of The First Tee of Dallas Board of Directors.

A graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point, Kevin lives in Greensboro, NC with his wife and daughter. His son is a 2020 West Point graduate and is serving as a Field Artillery First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
