Jay is an investor and entrepreneur having built, scaled, and exited numerous high growth companies.  Jay is co-founder and Managing Partner of DOM Capital Group, a privately held, diversified investment firm that invests in real estate, public and private companies, directly as well as through sponsored funds.  Dom Capital Group is a leading venture and growth equity investor building iconic, consumer focused businesses leveraging technology to bridge offline and online worlds. In addition, Jay is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Dom’s Kitchen & Market, a next generation grocery retailer transforming the meal shopping experience.

Prior to Dom Capital, Jay was an Executive Director at JP Morgan and held senior positions at Morgan Stanley and PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting. He currently is a board of director for Dom’s Kitchen & Market, Suckerpunch Gourmet, Frontera Hospitality (Tortazo), and Naturally Chicago. 

Jay earned a B.S. degree from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

He actively participates on the Board of Trustees for the Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago, The Northwestern University Leadership Council Board, and The Kellogg School of Management Global Advisory Board. He is a past board member of Teach for America and a past President of the Chicago Botanic Garden Associates board.

Adventure travel (including biking, skiing and hiking), boating, cooking Italian food and watching his kids participate in sports.
