Gayitri Budhraja is the Vice President of Brand at e.l.f. Beauty one of the fastest growing beauty companies, driven by a deep commitment to inclusive, accessible, cruelty-free beauty. She joined e.l.f. Beauty in 2015 and brings over 15 years of experience in marketing and general management, with a strong track record of building and growing brands through bold and imaginative marketing. Gayitri started at e.l.f. in Social Media; she spent the next three years in Sales driving the first wave of global expansion and accelerating the company’s retail partnership with Walmart, their largest customer. In 2018, Gayitri returned to Marketing to lead e.l.f.’s brand transformation, unleashing a distinctive point of view with emotional charge, launching a pipeline of disruptive activations to explode the visibility of the brand and elevating e.l.f.’s purpose driven mission. Gayitri continues to expand e.l.f. as a first mover into new frontiers, including launching its viral #eyeslipsface challenge on TikTok, dropping a holiday music album, and co-creating collaborations with like-minded digital disruptors, including Chipotle. As e.l.f. Beauty continues to strategically expand its portfolio, Gayitri leads Brand across e.l.f. Cosmetics, W3LL People, and Keys Soulcare -- a lifestyle beauty brand created with global music icon Alicia Keys and a board-certified dermatologist. Gayitri holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. Gayitri is based in San Francisco.
