Erica Thein

VP, Food & Beverage Owned Brands


Erica Thein currently serves as Vice President of Owned Brands for Target’s Food and Beverage business. In this role, Erica oversees consumer insights, food trends and culinary development, product innovation, and quality management across all food and beverage categories. Erica also leads sourcing for Target’s food and beverage brands, including manufacturing vendor selection and negotiations. 

Erica joined Target in 2010 in Marketing, leading teams in a variety of roles inclusive of Brand Marketing, Category Marketing, Marketing Strategic Planning, and Loyalty Marketing.  

Erica earned her BS from Morningside University, where she is on the Board of Directors, and her MBA from St. Thomas University. Her prior work experience includes Account Management roles in advertising at both retail and CPG focused shops. Outside of work, Erica enjoys spending time with her friends and family – including her husband, two daughters, and two dogs - participating in and attending sporting events, traveling, and volunteering.
